Def pep using this game to experiment with a system before 2 knock out games on Tuesday and Saturday. Intrigued to see how it works also allows Us to rest a lot of key players

I am glad Mendy is getting a game. If he can somehow get near the level he was when he arrived he will be useful. If it’s 5-3-2 it may give him license to whip in some crosses and concentrate less on defending.

I am curious how he'll play. Sometimes when he comes back after a while out he plays a really conservative role, like in his sub appearance recently.

But then again the last time he played he was getting into the opposition 6 yard box. So who knows?


I think he's in a Stones like position whereby if he avoids a cockup he could have a really strong game, but he REALLY needs to avoid the cockup.
