I'm the same - picked City when they won the FA Cup in '69 - as an 11 year old, without a club nearby - an early glory hunter, perhaps - then endured 40 years of pain & disappointment - but once chosen I couldn't swap. It's still a 7 hour drive to the Etihad and back and I only get to half the games - but I never leave before the final whistle - although I always feel bad at then hurrying away - I do envy those who live locally and don't have that need (and I'm always surprised / disappointed at locals leaving early - why would you?)
Get the pricing and kick-off times right and the fans will come.not sure I necessarily agree with what your saying on the people moving point, those local fans are still there in huge numbers. they haven’t all just left
I’m going to bet the vast majority of fans attending on Saturday will be from greater Manchester. It’s all to do with price and day. Even if it’s not city fans attending you can’t beat that pricing
I don't think soSteffen/Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Bernado, McAtee, Grealish, Mahrez.
Or they are reliant on the next to useless Metrolink. They all leave early because they're scared of their wives. Don't want to get in trouble for being out all day.
Who are you going for?I don't think so
Best thing to do is have a pint or two at City square then get on the met. If you're not in a rush to get home it's not as awful.Or they are reliant on the next to useless Metrolink.
I think we should play our usual strongest team, seeing they haven't played for over a week, too get the rhythm back for Brentford on WednesdayWho are you going for?
