Hilarious watching the open contempt and hatred Pep has for Simon Stone in his pre match press conferences. I watch them just to see Stone’s name to be announced and Pep faces/eye rolls as he blathers on with his fucking nonsense
the guy shouldn't be allowed to attend a presser or be on the end of a zoom call an absolute embarrassment to the " profession " of sports journalism.

I cannot even describe his questions as lame its far too generous a stretch to place them into.

I am waiting for Pep to answer them with one word namely next but he is far too polite to do what and how everybody should respond to Stone's diatribe with and that's doing him a great favour.

Back at Maine Rd we'd never sell out for the FA Cup 4th Round against Fulham. City have changed.

We still have problems selling out on a midweek because I bet a lot more fans than we care to admit are now living out of town. City's 30,000 were Mancs but over the years they moved. And now for the heague games there's little chance for many locals to get back in. Perhaps that's why so many blues will take advantage for a Cup game. One of the few occasions they can go to a game, but then why don't they show for midweek games?

We need to make it easy for people to go to games. Ticketing isn't simple or it certainly feels like its difficult. but I do think electronic tickets are the answer.

not sure I necessarily agree with what your saying on the people moving point, those local fans are still there in huge numbers. they haven’t all just left

I’m going to bet the vast majority of fans attending on Saturday will be from greater Manchester. It’s all to do with price and day.

we just need cheaper pricing. A lot of locals have stopped going over the last few years because of expensive tickets. Once you get into the habit of not going, it’s difficult to keep going.

Fa cup games have always been well attended, with lots of young adults attending from the area
