Well, as devil’s advocate, would you slag off the club that helped you become a legend in football management and could provide indirect or direct income for the rest of you life?

See many former players’ positive comments about City, even though some of them had very contentious relationships with the club and fans when they were with us.

Only a few have gone the opposite direction, and that is because either they always had stronger ties elsewhere (McPointy) or they are paid to be the “subjective City pundit” (Danny ****ing Mills).

Bobby has and continues to say nice things about our fans,not sure he loved the club as such though

Anyway this could go round and round for hours so i'm out before it gets fracteous

Why was the Fulham player sent off, I thought if the ref gave a penalty the most they could give was a yellow, tbh I thought it was harsh.

whilst I know some City fans have problems or can’t afford to go to watch anymore, I have to agree with Pep & ask why most of those posting on the match day thread weren’t at the game. It was cheap tickets today.

If you were willing to subsidise my air fare and hotel room, I'd have been delighted to have travelled over for today's game. A couple of hundred euros would have covered it.

The majority of people will not have been paid since before Xmas yet and we have two cup games in 3 days.

Spot on know someone who got paid 19th dec not paid again until 31st jan so that’s just over 6 weeks to keep going without a wage

Routine win; no injuries. Job done.

Most of the time Fulham were composed on the ball and you can see why they are doing well. Our pressing created 3 goals though, so maybe they need to limit playing out from the back when down to 10.

Don’t care how many went.

The clackers need fucking right off though.

It was as expected.

We shouldn't get to hung up on silly questions from hacks about percieved small crowds.

40,000 turned up .

Thats huge in relative terms.

The atmosphere was quiet as it would be in any other stadium for an obvious no contest.

The players did a proper professional job.

I am very satisfied and dont care what outsiders think or say. We are a great club.

I think that's a valid distinction, actually. He ‘got’ the fans. Not sure he got the club. Not even sure he got the players. (This is not a way of taking a dig at Pep, by the way).

yeah, Pep didn’t say anything about an injury and think it’s because he’s likely to start Weds.

I just saw a few saying “hope he’s ok” so assumed he went off injured.
