Fulham (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Kova reverted to where he plays best.
Yes he did and Akanji slotted into a back 4. Phil moved inside and we looked so much better. I still think that we should start with a back three and when out of pocession, Rodri steps into the back 4. When Stones returns does he step back into his previous role, moving into midfield if so, where does Kova play?

It wouldn’t be a red card because of double jeopardy as a penalty had been given. The same sort of offence outside the box might attract red?
It can be a red in box if no effort to play the ball. And after seeing it last night I didn't think he attempted to play the ball so it should have been red.

We're into interpretation again! Was the Fulham defender making a GENUINE attempt to play the ball. If not double jeopardy doesn't apply/

Just watched the rags goal against us at the swamp last season after the backlash our second goal recieved today. Our goal today can't hold a fucking candle to that call last season, yet the reaction to both goals is how you would expect it to be. Also, it made our treble just that more sweet as it was a massive two fingers up to the bitters.
I thought both goals should have been disallowed and I was fuming when the Rags one was given. Like the Rag’s offside goal, Fulham have argued that the goal was a turning point when in fact they had a whole half to rectify the situation. But managers always use these moments to divert attention from the fact that they were completely outplayed in the second half.

Have VAR come forward and explained their decision- did they after the Rags goal? Surely this is a necessity for controversial decisions.
