Couldn’t really have gone better. A first-half in first gear but thereafter it was only questions of when we’d score and how many. Pleasing to see Gomez, Phillips, and Bobb get on, and it’s especially pleasing that they were on and constructive in our scoring. That will help their confidence.

The young subs all did well too, kinda wished Bobb shot though.

No more Kovacic playing high with Foden wide, absolutely the wrong tactic, glad we changed it.

Also not sure about Walker being more or less our RW. He's doing what he can but his skill set is just not suited for that IMO.

The crowd seemed to really appreciate him, maybe bluemoon-93.20 isn’t a true representation of our wider support

Glad Gomez showed a glimpse of the form he had at the u21 Euros in his brief cameo. He’s a winger who could give Jack a rest. Patience for players like him is needed.

With that said, kept the faith that the lads would get the job done. Dropping Kova deeper gave the control that we’ve seen since the start of the season.

Alvarez and his runs caused mayhem. Haaland, efficient as usual.

What I enjoyed the most (other than the result obviously) was the subs keeping the quality of our play up. Last season as soon as we were 3 goals up and the subs came, our quality drop immensely, but today we still created chances, controlled the tempo and had some good skill plays. Well done to Bobb, Gomez, Phillips and Lewis.

Kalvin has a contract we’ve signed with him and he’s going to give it his all everytime he pulls on the city-shirt. No reason to moan about his ambition and it’s nice seeing the support in the stadium.

Would like to see him get more minutes when we have game won. Just needs some confidence. Can’t really fault his attitude and must believe he’s good enough to break thru.

He’s only been on the squad for a week. he Has speed though, and you can’t coach that. And a little better control than I expected. He will improve once he learns the system and players a little bit.

I see it more as the only way to have 4 defenders and 2 in the middle.

4231 is all that works, and requires a fullback wide to go 3241.

We could do 541/343, with 3 defenders and 7 ahead of them, but Pep wont sacrifice a defender to do this and the squad is really thin up top.

Fulham 1st half stopped us pressured us so well they keep the ball so well they press so well! We were off it a bit passing was not great gave the ball away more than normal, that probably because of the pressure of Fulham! Saying that we scored to good goals 2nd one maybe bit lucky that being given. Second half though we were much better patient picking the right passes and wore Fulham down, subs did so well too Bob Gomes Lewis and Philips were good and of course Haaland hatrick first of the season and Gomes did so so well picking him out..
