Couldn't have complained if Fulham had taken home a point or maybe even more

We look lost without Rodri and KDB and maybe the assurance they provide in front of the defence is affecting the defenders as they look all over the place

Two of our best players out but others should be stepping up……

For anyone who puts any great belief in that "XG" guff (I don't), City's was 1.5, Fulham's was 2.4.

The only stat that matters (in my opinion*) is the one in the top left corner of the screen.

Our defending is too inviting, too far away from the man and the ball.
Our don't-touch-anyone policy is a bit too soft in my book.

So why is Pep not using him in there?
I think Pep is prioritising C/L tbh and will use JS for those matches and the more difficult league games
Pep probably thought that the team he fielded today would win without too much trouble.
I don't think City have much to worry about at this early stage.

i understand pep playing grealish and bernardo on the wings because our defending had been bad and as such he wants to "defend" by having the ball but the midfield is off, he needs to figure that out through the break. in the meantime, 3 points are always welcome
