Our midfield with no Rodri is...scrappy match, and we were lucky Traore was the one with those chances. Superb sub and impact from Doku. Eddie having a MotM performance and Kovacic with 3 goals so far in the season, which is crazy for him.
 
Bullet well and truly dodged. We were very poor today and were actually outplayed for large parts of the game. The defence was all over the place, the midfield wasn’t in control and Haaland barely got a sniff.

We are very fortunate to only be one point behind the Dippers. Immediate improvement required.
 
Played well at times and poorly at others.

No idea what Guardiola was thinking in leaving Gundogan on. He was running in treacle at that time and not contributing at all and it could have cost us. Interesting to note that as soon as Fulham pulled one back, he took him straight off. I was happy when we signed him but at the moment he's not up to speed and shouldn't be starting games. We really should be starting with Foden, Kovacic and Bernardo in the centre.

I thought some of the other substitutions were a bit bizarre too. Walker on for Akanji to play at CB when we had Stones on the bench. What was that all about?

Ederson did well and saved us a couple of times as did Gvardiol. Kovacic was good and Doku looked sharp in his time on the pitch and scored a nice goal.

Other teams are younger, faster, hungrier than us and we look old, slow, tepid, uncreative and cannot get balls through to our striker. MASSIVELY lucky tonight and had to work for it.

We need signings come January and we have to get them right as I think other teams will challenge us more this season since we're leaking goals without Rodri.

I have to say Haaland and Akanji were our best players today.. Gvardiol good.. Kovacic bit lucky with the goals.. but what a Doku strike. Great call to sub him on.

HARD EARNED 3 POINTS! Fulham are a really good team.. could see them snap top 4 if they keep this up.

His outfield play and vision is 2nd to none and he is awesome in 1 on 1 situations. Other keepers are far better at shot stopping, commanding the box and penalty saves. Different types of keepers I guess. The former without doubt suits us better.
 
That was awful and law of averages says we are not going to keep getting away with it. Fair play to Fulham but in years gone by, we dispatch that level of opposition with ease. Not so this season.

We don’t have a midfield. Kova two goals, the 2nd of which was fantastic but it should not mask the fact that we have a gaping hole right in the middle. Gundo is either unfit or finished. I hope it’s the former but I’m leaning towards it being the latter given what we are seeing from him. The guy couldn’t move for the last 30 mins.

The two wide men of Grealish and Bernie is fucking terrible. Easy to defend against and offering zero threat. Grealish hasn’t scored in 2024 and Bernie well over 20 games. If I was the opposition manager and saw those two out wide, I would be fucking delighted. I actually think, we might actually be better served if Bernie and Grealish moved central. Bernie definitely.

Our defence also needs a kick up the arse. I have some sympathy because they are getting little to no protection from the midfield but at the moment, Josko is the only one that is switched on.

Eddie was fantastic today and has certainly won us points.
 
Horrible performance all round.
So many problems
Very, very lucky.
Hopefully KDB back in 2 weeks to solve 1 problem and Pep has more time to think about what to do with the other massive issue, Rodri.
