I understand the foden not playing thing maybe hes going strong in carabao. Fodens also only 22. Unfortunately we have to balance overplaying him and england over using him which combined with recent mention of tiredness is a balancing act. We also need to get games into the legs of the other players to keep everyone freshish for crutial part of season also the players such as mahrez are going to be important just after christmas with them not going to world cup.

We need everyone and far more often than not Pep gets the balance right , even played Laporte injured last season that in part got us over the line for another title to his short term detriment and how important was he in the run , very important. Gundy off the bench in the final game was a stroke of genius or luck (LOL) but again his changes were critical in getting us another title.

The teams have to submit their team sheets to the ref a few hours before the game.

There are a few copies of these team sheets.

The lad who got a thread on here about attending 1,000 games in a row the other week, Ste Page (don’t know if he still does this?), used to wait outside the ground (every ground!) for the team to arrive and was given one of the copies of the team sheet by City staff for every game for years. So he’d know the team before it was announced.

There may well be other ways people find out n’all. Mates of Pep or someone else.
