I think we should play our best 11 every game - no matter what - even if that does: cause lots of injuries; encourage complete burn out in an extra long season; lead to resentment in the squad for those who never get a game (including the young players); reduce our chances of winning anything.

I feel pep is managing all our players minutes and in the know how that they’ll be going to the World Cup and playing games!

Maybe he has his World Cup head on Because for Foden going to a World Cup will be foremost in his mind and pep did say he will tell if players are in the this mindset! Also I don’t blame foden being in this mindset if it’s the reason?!

I think theres something to this.
