this is exactly what we needed a kick up the arse!

everyone is passing then..MOVING into space up field..finally city actually playing decent football
Even Barry is moving the ball. He's given it away a few times, but so has Silva. The team look like they're not afraid of risking giving the ball away to reap the potential rewards.

radio 5 is a joke alan green and some scottish git saying fulham are not at it today! they are not at it cause they can't get near the ball..............
Yep. I've been hearing similar things from the commentary on my stream.I've said it before, that if we won the league,we'd be the only team in history to win it without deserving to win a single match.

Great 1st half...That's been coming a while now...Second will be tougher..Hard to maintain that level for 90 mins..Expect Fulham to have some more possession...Keep it simple City and it's a good 3 points in the bag..... and hold a little in the tank for Stoke..We'll need it.

Of course I would love to see us do exactly the same next 45 and win 6-0 ;)

A test of our mentality is that after that first half display we got now see this out.

sh!t, i was so excited in the first half, only just realised i've only been watching in standard definition.

*switches to HD for 2nd half*

That half must have been a blow for all those negative Italian football criticising "fans".
But that's the point - we haven't been negative today and that's what we should be capable of. We've moved the ball quicker, there's been good movement off the ball, it's been positive, quick and incisive. That's what we've been asking for.

The system we're playing, which I'd describe as 4-2-1-2-1 suits us.

Maybe the booing last week was a wake up call.
