Fulham Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

only ever tape MOTD so I can forward to our game and cut out the verbal diarrhea you hear week in and week out by a bunch of numpties. Seems like things have not changed my opinion of this trashy programme. Well played City today!!!!!!

Every TV station and national newspaper seems to think that Zabaleta's "foul" was inside the box. It was clearly at least a yard outside the box, am I blind or am I right?

It also appears that we were awful and our defence was crap. Is it me or did we not keep a clean sheet yesterday (discounting erronous penalties), and never come under any threat (bar 1 break)?

It was not a foul and it was not a penality - sadly the ref was shite

The only worthwhile comment came from Jol after the game where he said (I am para phrasing so this is not word for word) City attacked us with 5 players and they left lots of space in midfield which we did not exploit"

Everything else is uttereky irrelevent - expect the headline for the rags to be one of a glorified defeat

What foul?
You know, when Zab's fingers lightly swabbed Riise's shirt just outside the box.

Re: Am I just blind?

more:

"For the first 30 minutes City looked like anything but reigning Premier League champions as they allowed Fulham to take control and seize the initiative."
(The Sun)

What?

-- Sun Sep 30, 2012 12:17 am --

Mail on Sunday:

"They are the first champions of the Premier League era to concede goals in each of their first six matches and Roberto Mancini's premature assertion that they will retain their title looks far-fetched."

"far-fetched"?

Shows how bad MOTD is that even with the little time they have to "analyse" games they discuss the kits.

They clearly have no style, though, our away kit is fit

I honestly love it, I do. I want more. I love being hated!

Wasn't even a foul mate from the angles I saw.

agree, hence the " ".

Also, both the commentator and some newspapers I've read have claimed Tevez wasn't pulled back. But the same people say it was a foul be Zabaleta.

If one is, so is the other.
