Dzeko was awful that is probably why he was taken off

Totally disagree. He was taken off because we were getting overrun in midfield. Needed to switch to a 4-5-1, which we should have started with. Dzeko was involved in everything good going forward, should have scored. Negredo was anonymous in the first half. Thought MP made the right decision taking off Dzeko cause Negredo's interplay is better.

Didn't have his best game as could be said for quite a few today but I just don't see why anyone deserves slagging off.
Can't actually think of anyone fully at their best today so maybe they were all awful and deserve dropping.

I would play david silva on 1 leg he can open a back 4 with a killer pass

dont think the Dzecko Negredo tandem works, both take simlar positions so are easier to mark
Probably due to the conditions but we really struggled for any rhythm ,Silva was double marked from the start but never gave up and Zabba was sorely missed.
Ultimately we had players who can do magic, and they didn't.
Surely no-one can question the team spirit and graft after that, even the knicker-wetters that are so prominent on the match-day forum (until we go behind)
Should be a helluva game on Boxing day.

What about that very good run Negredo made from halfway and the good pass to Dzeko who instead of scoring lost it by getting it stuck around his feet and the other misses he made?
