Full Back For City in the Early '80's - Help

More mid-80s but David Phillips occasionally filled in at right back.

And Kenny Clements was a right back when he first came into the team, centre-half in his second spell. Possibly the slowest player I've seen at City - him or Kernaghan.

Manchester City only played Coventry away midweek once during the 1980's and that was a 2-1 defeat in 1989

1 Cooper
2 Fleming
3 Hinchcliffe
4 Bishop
5 Gayle
6 Redmond
7 White (goal)
8 Morley
9 Allen
10 McNab
11 Brightwell

12 Megson (unused)
14 Oldfield (unused)

the only other full back not mentioned is Ivan Golac, other than that I would go for Gary Fleming, played in 89 derby.

Nigel johnson
Sat next too Nigel Johnson and Alex Williams at the full members cup final
And ?
Was quite surprised to see them both sat in amongst the normal fans seeming they were both squad players at the time, both in good form considering everybody around them was legless
Can't be many blues with a memory of Nigel Johnson as the lad only played 4 times
