Full Backs?

We couldn't score one goal against Everton, is it because of our full backs ?

Chances should have been converted before the first Everton goal and even before half tine. After the second went in they played deeper and on the counter making it harder to breakdown and score, drawing our creative players further from their goal. The goals, in particular the first ,were down to Clichy so in a way, yep, fullbacks made it difficult to score.

I understand that Clichy's pass lead to their first goal, but no player will have 100% pass completion in a game.

Clichy was at fault for a few of the goals through passing, positioning, inability to react and defensive discipline. He needs replacing as it's not a one off. The same players are making the same mistakes, which aren't system related, just fuck ups. The Left backs in particular offer nothing going forward or defensively, and it's been that way for years. Everton targeted our left side and scored all the goals there. It needs addressing

I think you just answered him mate

This won't be popular but there is a decent full back at the swamp who is out of favour , Burger Boy was an excellent footballer at Southampton and he has'nt become a bad player overnight it is doubtful PEG will sanction any transfer (even though its the Dippers are their main rivals and not us). Might be worth a cheeky bid , if he can regain his form with the help of Pep , he is potentially better than anything we have.

Dont want anyone who think they've made it after a bug move and puts on weight easily plus after his bad injury wouldn't touch him with a ten foot barge pole.

Agreed and not because he's at the filth. He seems to have an attitude problem and his fitness and weight have been questioned which is shocking for a young professional.
