Someone chucked a half-eaten Mars bar at him, and he picked it up and ate it...to a large chorus of "Gypo! Gypo!"

Re nicking goalies property. Fulham in the early 80's when a friend who had drank far too much, well it was near xmas, decided he was invisible and then nick the goalies bag from out of the net...during the game. Easiest arrest plod must have made that day.

I still have a clipping from a paper from the time which read '6579 witness theft' and yes, it was a shite crowd.

I was with Sean walking round pitch when he nicked the bag. We were very pissed. He got done for theft £50 fine I got charged with Breach of the Peace and got £80!!!

Come to think of it...there IS a picture...somewhere..on the internet...from Blueview's own Birdy (Glenn) which he took one time on the way home from a game.
In one lane of motorway was our Birdy..in the middle lane pulls up a Finglands coach. With what appeared to be NICKY WEAVER driving the team bus! I shit you not! Anyone got it or seen it, or indeed in touch with Birdy to get a copy of that photo!!!??

anyone remember the arsenal game at maine road, the season we were relegated from the prem with Joe Royle

They absolutely mullered us and were 4-0 up after about 20 mins!!

cue some disgruntled soul running to the centre circle and staging a sit down protest about how shit we were until the stewards moved him

then a couple of streakers from the kippax, the guy was wearing the classic yellow and navy kit we beat gillingham in and ran around bare foot trying to tackle to arsenal players. the woman just ran around

Im sure Viera still remembers an attempted tackle by a man naked from the waste down

great atmosphere second half though, even wenger coimmented on it after the game!!

Two totally seperate games Bob. The game the OP is talking about was a midweek home game under Joe Royle. The 1-5 was as you rightly point out the final season at Maine Road under Keegan when we did as you state finish 9th. However the game in question was during our disappointing Premiership season with Royle in charge.
