Future Strikers

Because the culture in the Bundesliga is exclusively based around the English language and English culture...

Oh wait no it fucking isn't, it's based on German culture and language.

You are either incredible ignorant or being deliberately obtuse now.
Talking about ignorance, you are completely aware that football is the world's biggest sport and exist outside of England right? The general consensus is that centre forward and strikers are different, no matter what you think. It may not have been that before, but football evolves

I would disagree there, I think the majority of football fans would say a striker and a centre forward are the same or 'basically the same'. It's just those of us who are more tactical might acknowledge the difference. But we all agree a new central forward (pick your preferred name) who is a natural finisher is what we need and this thread should stick to naming preferences and why :)

I understand that but I'm talking more of the technical aspect as you mentioned. But some don't seem to get that

you are completely aware that China is the world's most spoken language and exists outside of England right? The general consensus is that more and more language will become Chinese, no matter what you think. Why don't we all speak Chinese?

This is an English football club, with a lot of English fans. Almost all of us understand and still use CENTRE FORWARD and STRIKER interchangably. Just as you seem to use CENTRE FORWARD and SECOND STRIKER interchangeably.

You have been rude and aggressive, and while we understand that outside of the UK, CENTRE FORWARD may mean different things, you have not once listened to the many, many people telling you what we all call a centre forward.

I understand your reasoning and I'm not english so I don't know what you guys call it there but in general football terms centre forward and striker are two different roles. So I understand the confusion, and if it's different in England, because I thought because it's such a wide used term to differentiate forwards, that most would've been familar with it by now.

As for the aggressiveness, that was only aimed at a certain user who shall not be named, who comes with controversial opinions just to be controversial and seemingly only have the goal to piss off other users on this forum. The same user has been confronted about it by more people than me, especially over at the bluemoon forum. So I apologise if I carried the same rudeness to you, that was not my intention

I was going to be nice to you and assume you are either not English, or a young child who likes FIFA, but that last sentence was so rude and arrogant that I'm gonna have to show you why you are wrong.

In English, a centre-forward is usually used to define a striker. A striker who plays centrally (the clue is in the name). Wingers are often also called strikers (especially inside forwards), but generally people are more likely to use the term Forward as an umbrella term for strikers and wingers and striker is usually reserved to mean the EXACT SAME THING as centre forward.

I know that in FIFA, a centre-forward is equivalent to a "second-striker", "trequartista" or "false 9". However a centre forward in real life is the name for a traditional striker, a number 9. Just because something is in a video game, doesn't make it real.

Also it's spelt CENTRE not CENTER, and FOOTBALL not FOTBALL.

If you are going to be an arrogant prick, make sure you are right.

Always thought it was center forward, and that centre forward was the name brought in by Europe when they took control of football?
