Gabri Veiga

Would Mount not be a safer signing over Veiga? Maybe Pep makes him into the player he was a couple of seasons ago again?
Sadly no, mate. Overrated, wants 200k and costs 60+ mil. City gotta be smart here and look towards players that can usher in the new era after Pep goes. I dont know if Veiga is it or if he goes to Chelsea, but Mount aint it.

More value for money to go for someone like Otavio or Ramsey (villa)

This lad looks like a more attacking version of Rice ...looks a powerful runner with the ball (maybe not rapid but just powerful)

Personally the guy looks underwhelming and I wouldnt want him but if pep and city do then fair enough. I think we should continue or search for a midfielder in the same vein of profile we've been looking for so far from bellingham and rice, powerful box to box runners.

What an inane comment.

Yes Pep and the club know more than us so let's shut down the forum as there is no point in discussing anything.
Expressing opinions is what it's all about but shitting on guys the club rates is so fucking presumptive. And that happens on here endlessly. Someone gets mentioned that the club may like and it's followed by a bunch of forum "experts" slamming the guy, killing him, calling him shit, not for us, not good enough and usually from guys who I would bet my house on have never spent any real time watching the player. I'm not saying Pep is infallible as I've had my say at times, but when it comes to recognizing talent I trust him 1000%. Especially because he's the one who will be working with the talent. If he wants someone my hope as a supporter is he gets who he wants as one can't argue with the results.

As far as dodging bullets, one can't judge the Maguires and Cucurellas of the world as we'll never know how they may have turned out under Pep...

I think expressing their disagreement for player in question is fine but i agree more often than not it's just one liner post of why they disagree and providing not enough reason of why they didn't like that said player will be bought by our club.
