Pro boxers are allowed to take part in the Olympics now. The ruling was only made a couple of months ago so only a few have taken up the option for Rio. I suspect the next Olympics will be dominated by the pro boxers unfortunately.

Will we get a team gb footy team next time then?? like the lions in rugby league? That's probably the only way Joe Hart gets to play with Gareth bale....No. That went out with the ark.
Pretty sure it's only boxing now where if you turn pro you can't compete. All the track and field stars are paid, same with the golf, football, handball (in Qatars case), tennis, rowing (GB's case), pretty much all of them.

don't know what to think. time will tell if he can justify this pricetag or another bubble in the making. when he will come in january just dont count him i dont think he will have an impact in 6 month will need time
but for example
Kelechi who is now 2nd striker. first time saw him with the team i was 99% he would make it. it was so obvious.cant say that about pozzo the spanish and co who were overrated by almost every one in this forum. football is more than just skill with the ball. the brain, the confidence !!

Don't read too much into his performances in the Olympics so far. He's playing striker for the first time. His potential and excitement has been based on him playing in Neymar's position on the left. Clearly he isn't going to get that role in this tournament.
