IMO he's dropping way too deep, if he takes part in a move early on for Brazil, he never gets back into the box in time to finish or be an option.
He isn't getting great service, Neymar is being a selfish bellend and Willian can't seem to put a cross in to save his life, but he's also contributing to it himself by not being there on the end of the counter-attacks Brazil are scoring most of their goals from.
Firmino got the goal yesterday because he started higher up, and could get on the end of Neymar's embarrassing shot attempt, I don't think Gabi would have gotten there.
I agree with the idea he's doing a lot for the team, but at a certain point, you have to look after yourself too, all top forwards would do that.
