Just looking at Shearer's piece on MOTD it accidentally highlights what some have said on here regarding his offsides etc.

There were several early passes available which never came, & at that moment he's onside & could easily have been put through.

Both his goals, if the ball had been a fraction later, would have been offside.

yeah really pleased by Gabriel 2 goals on Saturday, always had faith in the lad, the thing that surprised me most though was him speaking English after the game, his English is bloody brilliant, keep it up Gabriel.
