Love this players hard work and you can see team improvement when he comes on and hounds the opposition players, but he undoes all the good work with senseless off sides , which is why i think he plays better with Sane and Sterling

I prefer him to Aguero in our current team. Kun will always be a club legend but I believe that Gabriel brings more out of his teammates.

Does anyone know if Gabby's mates are back in the UK?
I think they went back to Brasil for a visit last Christmas and were refused entry into the UK on their return.
Their absence seemed to effect Gabby's form.

We are blessed to have both.

Being offside so much is something he needs to work on. We are blessed with brilliant creative players who can weight a pass meaning he doesn't need to be right on the edge. His movement, effort and link up play is generally excellent though and he prefers one touch pass and move where Aguero likes to turn and run with the ball and can drop deep for it if isolated. The goals will come. He is young and players are rarely prolific at his age. Keep working hard for the team and do what Pep wants of him and he will soon have more opportunities. Just needs to tuck a chance away and the confidence will come back in front of goal. He has his head screwed on as you can see from his comments regarding the Mahrez penalty. Disappointed but fully supportive of his manager and teammate.

I think he could benefit from more time out wide to enhance his positional awareness and develop that trickery he has before being switched back to centre forward but it will be unlikely he is used wide again considering our extensive options. I like him in a front 2 where his movement and quick one touch passing is hard to track.

To be fair that is how Brazil use him, to create space for Neymar, and on Neymars list Jesus is the first name, Neymar virtually picks the team these days, it is only the English press that disrespects Jesus qualities and importance to us and Brazil

It's quite bizarre. I think his ceiling is higher than any of our players.
Midway through last season people were talking about him being the best young player in the World.
He's had a quiet period, Sergio has hit another level and is firing on all cylinders.
An injury or dip in form, the whole thing changes again.

I think even now, if we were playing Barcelona in the CL final or away in the semi final Pep would start Jesus.

For me, in Bernardo, Sané & Jesus we have three potential World Players of the Year.

Aguero is definitely one of the best strikers in the world, to the point I can not think of a player we could replace him with except maybe Mbappe? but he is struggling age work rate and playing in a deeper role would effect anybody

If he’s struggling, long may the struggling continue.
