Probably not mate, I've seen absolutely blatant ones go unpunished in real time, notably Dinho and Firmino on Thursday. It can certainly be dangerous but it can be difficult to prove in real time, maybe the introduction of VAR may lead to more penalties being given and the officials becoming more strict on this offence?

I've broken my collarbone in two places from one of those challenges and if the angle had been slightly different it could have been a lot worse. That's from a deliberate foul with no attempt whatsoever to win the ball. Knowing how to break your fall is fuck all use when you get cleaned out of the air on your blindside with no time to react. Hence the blanket ban in Rugby, where everyone is solid and knows their breakfalls and they've still ended up with brain injuries and broken necks from it.might want to work on the way you land then bud.
