I'd rather stick with him being out for the season. We can then tell Brazil to bollocks over him playing in the confederations cup and we have a fully fit, firing on all cylinders striker for the start of next season.
 
Sounds like he's ready to step up training. I would have thought he'd have a scan to make sure injury has healed. If I was him, or City, that's something I'd want to know before he does any contact work with the ball.

You would expect a scan to be carried out anyway with a professional outfit like City.

That's never going to happen though is it? He'll want to play for his country and City trying to be awkward about it would only cause bad feeling. When we get world class players we should treat them well.
