Gabriel Jesus back in training (page 77)

I can't think of a high profile player whose game has been affected long term by it. Might affect him mentally for a while

I personally don't know about the timeline of his injury but I'm sure Rooney got one.

A question for anyone that knows about medical stuff or metatarsal in particular, Could this injury hinder Jesus in his development in anyway? Some rag said to me the other day that players don't stay the same after this. True or is he on a wind up?
The clue is in the word "rag"
Fixing these guards against future problems which may occur if you let them heal by nature.
Should have no long term impact.
Surgery has clearly gone well.
Only risk would be rushing him back.

I was just going to ask the same question.
We all know it is a small bone in the foot but can anyone say that bone will heal properly or will it always be weaker than before the injury.
Can he wear some special boot ? - with extra strength in the boot.
Last thing he and us want is a recurrence.
We all wish Gabriel Jesus a great career. - and stuff the Rags.

The honest answer is 'we don't know'. All depends on the damage and which metatarsal bone is involved. It's impossible to put a timescale on recovery from a stress injury.

He'll be receiving the best treatment possible, but to even compare this to other players with similar metatarsal injuries is akin to thinking that anybody's single metatarsal injury has a specific recovery rate. There are far too many factors to take into consideration, and as such no serious timescale could ever really apply.

Bones heal thicker especially when your young.
