another day at the office... two of the best teams in the world, an incident in the game between two top players, both play for city !

GB looks ok, bet Ota feels a twat now and will when pep rings him and calls him a clumsy tw*t

Ota is a very good player by the way

Didn't watch the match and it's hard to tell if Ota was trying to take him out or was just going for the ball at that angle and speed. So hopefully there is no ill feeling between the two when they come back into training.

There won't be.

The sort of challenge that occurs many times amongst teammates at training all the time.

All is well no no bone damage , he could probably play in Singapore if pushed but the good thing is he won't be.

Carlos Monzon, Oscar Bonanvena, Luis Firpo, Jorge Ahmunda, Louis Matthysse, Marcus Maidana, Victor Galindez, Sergio martinez, Hugo Corro.

ok. Fair point. Hardly comparable to several other countries though. I would guess not as many world champions as Japan, Thailand and Philippines, never mind Mexico, UK and US. Russia and Cuba would have had many more if not for the absence from professional fighting for many years.

Regardless, some terrible boxers have come from the top nations. :)
