Gabriel Jesus joins Arsenal

Why 12 months? We could have given him a new contract and played him more regularly, I think our bench yesterday was not as strong as it once was
I agree. We're only a couple of injuries away from it being a bit light.

Still, I have huge hopes for Palmer this season. I think he's the db's.

I think folk are forgetting that he probably wanted to leave so he could play more. We maybe didn’t have any say. I wish him the best but folk getting carried away by pre-season goals are jumping the gun. Let’s see how he fairs after half a season but regrets are mentioned. He’s not as good as haaland and I’ve every confidence Alvarez will replace his work rate and effort over the course of the season.

Great move it would seem.

Getting the opportunity to show what he's all about, and that means a bargain for Arsenal.

This is one we will regret.
Said for years that he’s brilliant player. Always did well in big games due to his defensive attributes which Pep goes on about. Even when he played bad he still grafted his bollocks off. His confidence will be at an all time high and I wouldn’t be surprised if he finished top scorer in the league.

Gabby is a great player who always contributes to the team, even when not playing well. If you remember when he first joined we didn't lose a game when he was playing, for over a year.

No doubt he'll be very good at Arsenal, as will Sterling at Chelsea. But Haaland & Alvarez have the potential to be as good & younger - but only time will tell.

Not based on Saturday’s game, but not convinced at the time moving Jesus, Sterling and Zinny out were the correct decisions. Arsenal fans can’t believe their luck. Jesus and Sterling fitted our play well, let’s see what happens over the course of the season. Pep usually gets his decisions right, so hopefully it will prove to be the right decision.

Gabby is a big time player but unfortunately for some reason he didn’t choose to take his chance as the number one striker at City over the last couple of seasons, preferring to play on the wing. No idea why but am sure he’ll do very well at Arsenal. Fresh start and all that

Sadly they all wanted to leave.
No point in keeping players who do not want to stay and fight for their place.
We are the best team in the land and if any player does not want to stay and fight for a place they go to a lesser club.
Nothing Pep can do but sell them in this case.

I'm so happy for him. He's going to go to another level. Some guys flourish under a calculated system, others flourish being the main man with freedom. Unfortunately I believe he's the latter. If Halaand doesn't win the golden boot, I hope it's him.

How did he prefer to play on the wing? Do you think he had a clause in his contract where he wanted to play? Answer no he played where pep told him to play

They all wanted to leave for regular starts which unfortunately was not happening at city,
