So not done exactly but extremely positive

Hopefully put some minds at rest about this!;)

Agent: ‘Gabriel Jesus very close to City

“Is it done with Manchester City?” Cristiano Simoes considered in an interview with Calciomercato.

“I can say that we’re defining some contractual issues, we’re working on that.

“Could he go to Inter? We’re very advanced with Manchester City. We’ll see.”

I never presented the video as evidence of anything. Once again, there are numerous sources that have been stating this is a done deal for weeks now. MARCA stated it today alone.

I never did this.

How many trusted journalists and sources need to say it's a done deal before you accept it's a done deal? Even the club has confirmed the stories about Gabriel Jesus to City.

Ultimately, you're free to believe what you want, but that doesn't change that this is a done deal.
Your response suggests you may have read my post as an attack against you. If that's the case, I apologize. While I quoted your post, my response wasn't meant to be specifically directed at you nor was it meant to challenge what you've said on this thread. Just a general note about people saying "it's done.' Great conclusion. But I'd rather know why people believe a deal is done. That way I can decide whether I should agree with their conclusion

If you say for example "saw clips of his interview video" or my source saw clips of it. Or my saw said he signed yesterday. I'm more inclined to say it is probably done.

But the most many are saying regarding lots of these transfers are things like, City is ahead, or City has beaten so and so to X. Or X to City is almost complete. These sort of proclamations don't equate 'done' for me. The ones in the previous paragraph do.

In short, all I'm saying is tell me the facts as you have them, and not the conclusions you've reached based on those facts.

Now this is what I like. Facts.

So the deal is almost done. Good.

This does indeed sound like the truth is out.

THE AGENT SPEAKS
The finishing line is close for the Citizens with the players agent (who also owns a percentage of the player) speaking to Calciomercato.com earlier. Christian Simoes stated that; “Business with Manchester City? I can state that we are looking at some contractual details at the moment, I can confirm this. Inter? With Manchester City we have made a lot of progress we will see”. It now seems the squad of Guardiola are firmly in the box seat to take the Brazilian youngster to the Premier League.
