Spanish media are salty, using the money angle... Afraid to write Pep's new team signed away their # 1 target. Posting old quotes in front pages etc. Barca didn't want to put enough faith in him because they didn't want to rock Neymar's boat, then Neymar was gitty about him in Olympic training trying to recruit him. So Barca's agents fly back again with the "are you really really really really sure" pitch. I'm so glad we got him as he has a better mentality than Neymar.

My biggest issue is that we already have one top class talent in Kelechi and if Bony is out that still could stiffe his development. And in all honesty at the moment Kelechi is way better.

What has he said mate?

Nothing of note. Was asked if it looked as though we look to have tied up his signing which he confirmed adding Palmeiras were unhappy that Pep had personally phoned him to get the deal over the line. Offered absolutely no insight as to the type of player or how promising he is. Was basically thrown in as an aside at the end of the conversation.

Kelechi is talented and we've all seen him score in the PL but Gabriel Jesus made his name dispatching my Nigeria's U20 team with Kelechi in the line up scoring inside 10 minutes. He has a better first touch and more creative than Kelechi right now. Having Gaberiel and Kelechi in the team isn't going to harm either one. Gabe is originally a winger and is more creative in that role, he's just added ST to his name. In the Olympics the manager wants potentially 4 forwards who are good on the ball in a 4-2-4 with Gabe up top, he's flexible. Flexibility in attack is the main theme in our signings this window.
