I'll let this clown off seeing as it's Christmas and he's probably just spotted a present under the tree with his name on it but fuck me it's very very bitter.

I think that rag muppet doesn't actually realise how competitive the Brazilian league is.......jealousy is an ugly trait : )

How anyone can watch Gabriel Jesus & come up with that is beyond me.

I can only assume he hasn't actually watched him at all & has seen a couple of clips on youtube.

"Doesn't have the physicality of Martial" He's 4 pounds lighter than Martial ffs. Martial of course being a hefty 11 stone 9 pounds... Fucking amazing the shite rags come out with.

Two words come to mind, manimanc:

Straws and clutching.

He's going to be a godsend for us. We need players that can beat a man one v one with pace and technicality on the other side of Raz. I can't wait to see him play!

Has anyone got any news on Gabriel. Is he with the squad training yet?

No, it'll be all over the OS when he starts training I imagine. Had heard it'll be later this week but not sure if that's still the case.

Guessing we'll see him in mid feb
4-5 weeks off & 4-5 weeks "pre-season" training

I would go for the end of Jan. He shouldnt need to build up the endurance required for a full season. And he hasn't had the equivalent of a full summer break. Isn't it likely that he will follow the sort of routine for players returning late from a summer tournament? If he starts training this week then perhaps he could be on the bench against Spurs. Or the following week if we're still in the FA Cup. If we lose to West Ham next week a pound to a penny says we'll be jetting off to the middle east after the Spurs game for a couple of friendlies when he would likely feature.

What does it say?
Originally said Jesus has a farewell party on the 17th of January, since then a Brazilian has corrected him and said that 01/17 means 17:00 on the 1st of January. So he's leaving Brazil presumably on the 2nd of Jan.

Start training with the team around the Everton match I think. Possibly on the bench for Spurs - debut at West Ham in the league!

Seems to me like Pep has name checked him quite a lot in his press conferences over recent weeks so wouldn't be surprised to see him very quickly involved
