Well done to you too, your "Hahaha the perfect response" to someone posting his career highlights as evidence that he never has a bad touch wins you the coveted "most naive and misguided reply" award. Although you may have to share it with SWP as he's just done the exact same thing! lol! Share nicely, now!

I'm sure you're a really nice person, but hey I have to almost apologetically say to you that to me it was a really boring point that you made and I'm not sure how much debate there is to be had in talking about how sometimes GJ has a bad first touch, but you really come across as some needy attention seeking ........ person. Cue a really really smart ()response that's going to cut me to the quip..........

I'm a lovely person, I'm always nice to people when I first meet them. But I've been brought up to treat people how they treat you. So if they change the tone, I will follow suit.

No problem if you found my point "boring". I found your "Hahaha the perfect response" post pejorative.

I'm not an attention seeking.....person at all actually. I'm actually quite a private person. But I've got a pretty big ego, and if someone tries to dismiss my point without having any valid rationale to back up why, then I'm more than happy to explain why I'm right :-)

Man that last few pages have been brutal. All of the arguing could've been better spent watching his "every touch" videos that have chronicled his entire career on that fan account that's been used throughout this thread.

Only at City could we fuck this up, Christ on a bike, we've had 6 months or so to sort this, lol.

Someone will be getting some serious shit for this.

I personally find Shaelumstash one of the posters I most look forward to reading. Very well informed and for me puts his points across better than anyone else on this forum.

If he's seen Gabriel Jesus for 4 live games on the tv, and his first touch is what he noticed, then I believe him.

Players do go through dips in form, especially young players. Hopefully the games Shaelumstash watched were just such a dip in form.

Does anyone have a feeling Sergio will be gone at the end of the season? From watching us, I just don't think he suits Pep's style of play. He is unquestionably one of, if not the best finisher in world football. However, he also plays with his head down, and passing and link up play is not a strength of his. I mentioned this in the transfer forum, but after watching young Dembele for Celtic, he looks ideal for Pep's style of play. He is a natural finisher and has pace and power. On top of this he is very unselfish and links skilfully with his attacking midfielders with precision weighted passes behind defences. I think these are the attributes we need from our front man if the team is to succeed in implementing the style Pep wants to play.

This is in no way meant to disbarage Sergio btw, it's just certain players suit different styles of play, and to me he has looked very under par this season despite his decent goal return. I also believe he feels this way too, giving the numerous out of character incidents he has been involved in. Strange times ahead if we are willing to let someone with his talent move on in his prime. Some big big decisions to be made...

That's a very nice reply ;)

Aguero's performance last night was the epitome of everything Pep would want from a striker, that was his best game of the season to my reckoning so it seems a strange comment to make today. His movement off the ball was brilliant, he dragged defenders away to allow the midfielders to run past him, he held the ball up well and brought players into play superbly and got a well deserved goal.

That said from the little I have seen of Gabriel Jesus he's very similar with his selflessness, reminds me very much of Luis Suarez in that respect. If he turns out half as good then we'll have a superstar on our hands.

No. He will rightly remain our #1 striker and become our #1 goal scorer overtaking Tommy Johnson's 166 and Eric Brook's 177 goals for the club.

One of the most exciting players to come to the UK in years let's hope he is allowed to play and not have his flair coached out of him in favour of possession
Yeah just the way Messi had his flair coached out of him and Sterling has fallen apart this year and never tries to take a man on...

My thoughts summed up far more eloquently than I could.

Agree 100%.

Full performance from Aguero. Only one lapse when he shot from an unlikely angle rather than giving Sterling a tap in, but otherwise fantastic.

And he changed positions, at times playing like he was on the left of a 3 then like a No 10 in a 2, then cf in a 2 etc. etc.

Jesus is ready made for that kind of football & also makes the kind of runs Zabba & Sterling were making.

Exciting.
