I know other teams were allegedly after him, but it's not as if we've signed someone like Ibrahimovic who is a proven world class striker. What bugs me about this signing is that it just proves the lack of focus on the issues with the new official website. I mean while we were getting ditched from our lovely old mcfc.co.uk site to the mancity.com monstrosity, our management team were completely distracted by trying to sign this young world class player and that world class young player. It's just not on. Fix our website and then make 1 mega money signing. Like, we could have been more efficient and signed 1 Pogba instead of 5 or 6 better players.

And don't get me started on the shit home and shitter away jerseys. Jesus.

From the little I've seen/heard of him he seems extremely skillful, direct and a great finisher. Could get used to these players preferring us to Barca. Can't wait to see him in January.

Hi. I am a Palmeiras fan and can tell you guys you signed one of the best players I have seen arising from Brazil in a long long time (and I ve seen lots of them). Gabriel is fast, pure technique, take good decisions and do the right plays almost allways and is evolving very very fast. He is not like Neymar, he is much more of a striker, a little bit like Ronaldo when he emerged from Cruzeiro.

Please take good care of him, know that you guys have now 20 million new fans (size of the palmeiras torcida. I confess I registered here since I am going to follow him wherever he goes) and be ready for good things in the future.

By the way, the chant we've done to him (its allways sung in allianz parque, palmeiras stadium), which is pretty much the same in english is:
