This will be the big test. It's no good being lightning fast if you have no room to use it.

This kid is gonna need to have a brilliant first touch, great close control, be bullet fast across 3 yards and be able to shoot through 2 covering defenders.
I saw great touch and lightning acceleration in those clips. It may take him a little time to settle in but it looks like he has confidence by the bucketload which will help. Looking forward to seeing a front three of Stirling, Sane, JG.

Introduce him progressively from the bench, keep him under the radar & room him with Zabba.

Then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

BTW......Wet Spam away ?

PS. How's the rags Munich flag getting on ?? I hope the Mackams burn it on social media & send the ashes back to the vile scroates.
Fancy the rags getting a little touchy about a liccle flagie wag. YCNMIU !!

Judging by them clips, we don't have to worry about him getting the shit kicked out of him like aguero and silva do, they have kicked the kid from pillar to post, must be a tough little fucker
And yet people still claim that he's only 19 and will have to get used to the physicality of the PL! The lad will look at every game as a training session with no challenges allowed.

Watching those clips you can see why diving and rolling around as if you've been shot is the norm as well. All of the South American federations and referees have lost the plot, the only way back for them is to bite the bullet and accept that for one season there will be plenty of 9 versus 9 games when they stamp down on the fouls and cheating. The clubs and players will catch on.

What a lot of modern strikers seem to forget is that it is actually their job to create space, create chances and be an all round fkn nuisance for the oppositions defence. Take Surez for instance, how many times did he score a goal himself created by himself from nothing, defenders round him had a nightmare looking after him for 90 minutes. It seems these days a lot of strikers want that cutting ball to their feet to run on to and finish to take the glory.

Gabriel looks a right handful, he creates havoc, he is not scared to try something rather than go for the safe pass option. You have to take a gamble if you want to be a winner.

Burnley away / Hull away I saw several passes laid on to sterling from silva / KDB / Yaya, he only had a defender and keeper to beat. But he takes the ball side ways away from goal and we win a throwing when he gets tackled ! I can see Gabriel taking full advantage of these passes and actually having a go which is what we all want to see. ( another reason I would like to see more of Sane, brilliant footwork and shot )

Once settled in Gabriel will be amazing, he will certainly not be shot shy or only hitting the ball against defenders shins.

If he is as successful as I think he will be (i.e. sh*t hot!) £27 million seems an amazing fee by today's transfer fee levels.

Also as regards the point about his profile, he has all the makings of our new poster boy taking over from Aguero. I have not felt as excited about a forecoming debut since Aguero's cameo against Swansea at home in 2011 and that was a great debut!

I hope Aguero doesn't feel threatened by him and embraces what he can bring to the team, whatever happens he will always have a special place in our hearts.

I'm hoping he becomes an all-world talent and one of the most successful legends in the club history. I hope he is up there with the greats. Alright. I might be overdoing it a bit.

Bet he can't wait for pie, chips and curry sauce.

When will he be eligible to play. Burnley looks impossible because paperwork can't be done until window opens?

Guessing it will be West Ham at earliest?

I doubt it will be West Ham. Pep said a few weeks ago that Jesus needed a break of up to a month and having had that break I would expect that he now effectively has to do a bit of "pre season training" to bring him back up to full fitness before he is ready to play.

I fear he's going to get some rough treatment from certain teams in this league, but he looks fearless.

Could be a secret weapon. No one apart from City fans seems to be talking about him. If Man Utd had signed Brazil's new No 9 it would be non-stop hype, but I think it's better this way for the player.

They'll kick him alright but he's already had a shitload of players do that.
He's learned to roll with the punches and to buy free kicks in dangerous areas like nobody we've seen since Mario.
