Gael Clichy Appreciation

I think we are at the business end of the season Clichy will play in the big games.

Just a case of bedding everyone in at the moment.

needs to start tonight

Kolarov tonight and Clichy on Sunday.

We won't have much defending to do tonight and Kolarov's delivery is better than Clichy's so with Dzeko likely to start I'd rather have Kolarov playing and give Clichy a rest.

Brilliant in the air for someone so small - he beat Heskey to every diagonal ball. Best player on the pitch today, with Milner close behind.
spot on pal.i said this after the game on saturday, hes not the tallest but gets up really well in the air, great pace.sweet left foot, shame woolwich arsenal fans thought he was past it.innit.

Clever clever player, let us not neglect his massive contribution. Man city is only the team it is now with all the guys we have. I think Clichy is a massive player for us, otherwise we just have the skill of Kolarov, when pace and skill is needed sometimes, dependant on our lineup ofc.

I think Clichy has been a great signing, and not just because of his obvious ability, but also because I believe Kolarov has really stepped up his game since his arrival.

IMO and it may be with blue tinted specs, but Ashley Cole, Enrique and Patrice Evra are all a downgrade on Clichy. The lad is absolute quality, quick, good on the ball and one of our best signings in recent history, considering we paid what 6 mil? Nani did not get a look in on Sunday, even had to come off and that was largely due to him.

Just seems to keep his head down get on with it..Its always the quiet ones you watch out for.

Never felt so confident about a City left back in all the years I've supported the club - Sunday being a great example that normally you know the scum will target that position, no worries any more.
