not sure if this is real or not, looks a bit disproportionate to me

sad that tonight's the finale already :(

That tub Martin better start writing again otherwise the show's gonna lap the books, even if they split the next few books into two seasons as well.

Was wondering if they was going to do that and if so,how? it looks ok to me. Winds of Winter was 1/4 finished about 4 months ago so quite abit away yet. took 6 fecking years for a dance with dragons so i have give up guessing.

17minutes until i can get my hands on it, can't wait.

I'm starting to like the hound more and more to.
However the butchers boy was not nice so he is still a wrongun in my book atm.

Good. Not great, but good. Would have liked a better ending point heading into 10 months until the next episode

Should i buy the books or wait for a year? Someone help me out here. Anything else good to watch during that year?

Buy the books they are the greatest i have ever read, bah i knew they would end the series like that.

Very powerful Jon and Ygritte scene, even more so than the books, where the fuck was Coldhands

Westeros is the UK

This is a map of Westeros.

Now look at this its the UK map flipped around with Ireland slapped on top.

Hadrians wall is the WALL.

Scotland is North of the wall with the wildlings.

London is KingsLANDING

The Andals are the Anglos (Saxons)

The Narrow sea is the English channel.

Esso where the free cities are is Europe.

The Dothraki plains are the Eurasian steppe.

Old Valyiria is the Roman Empire.

Old Valyirian is Latin spoke right across the roman empire.

It is a blend of Britain and America. Mostly as you say it is the UK with some adaptations and there are some distinctly English sounding towns in Westeros (Ashford and Ramsgate) but it has been expanded so that it is the size of North America. Kings Landing is about 3000 miles ('a thousand leagues') from the wall. In the far north (Canada) it is so cold that there is a 700 foot high wall made of ice, but the southern (gulf) coast is sun scorched and arid. There are substantial gold reserves in the west (California) beyond a high mountain range (the Rockies) where the main town is LAnnisport. The Dornishmen are not like Cornishmen at all but are distinctly Hispanic in their appearance like the Hispanics of southern California and new Mexico. The main wine growing area is in the far south west (California).

10 months is a long time to wait....good last episode..leaves a whole lot of options open for the next season..
