Also, you're ignoring a pretty huge prophecy told to Dany by Quaithe, that pretty much explains why she's had to "go back" to the Dothraki: "To go north, you must go south. To reach the west, you must go east. To go forward you must go back, and to touch the light you must pass beneath the shadow." That quote is from A Clash of Kings, which was published in 1998, at least a decade before the TV show was even thought of. Her storyline hasn't been delayed for TV ratings, it's been plotted for almost 20 years.

Also, because of the location of King's Landing and Slaver's Bay in relation to the Narrow Sea, far too many people have presumed that she'll attack Westeros from the east, but what if she's supposed to go to Asshai (the most southern, eastern city in the Known World) and attack Westeros from its west side? GRRM has stated many times that the Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire universe is spherical, much like our own world. There's no use making judgements about a character's storyline until it's finished and, as we all know, Dany's still has some way to go.

I thought it was another solid episode.
Like any show really the whole series build towards it's finale.

I particularly enjoyed Tormund's flirting with Brianne and everyone's uncomfortable silence. He'll probably bum her till her head falls off next episode.

With a bit of luck the Iron Islanders will join with the Wildlings and Jon to take back Winterfell.
And when that's done let Theon and Sansa turn the new Lord Bolton into salted minced pig feed.

Im sure a lot of people will enjoy it, i just getting tired of nothing happening. 4 episodes in now and nothing much has really progressed. I'm not that fussed about blood and guts, i just think the story is so thinly spread across so many charachters, they are struggling to get any meaningful progression. I fully expect it to pick up once we get to about episoide 6/7 and leave us all again blown away, but so far i feel its been a big let down. As someone already said though, ill keep tuning in.

It was me that said they were getting bored but will continue to tune in, think we feel the same about the show.

I dont need a red wedding, I just want some story progress, nothing has happened in Kings Landing for 4 hours of TV, which is just shite considering the amount of air time they have had. Danny moved on a bit this week, reasserting her control of things, she needs to start to look West though, before she just goes around in circles further. Jon has come back to life, but thats about it from the wall. Theon is home maybe things will pick up over the sea but again not a lot has progressed.

And not a whisper from the white walkers still, who are presumably all wanking each other off in the cold waiting for lord knows what, maybe for Gendry to finish rowing or maybe Benjen is fighting them back single handed.

Thats what frustrates me so much, it left the last series at such an amazing ending, but now its like its never happened. The white walkers were awe inspiring and yet there hasn't been a mention of them in 4 episodes. Now we are stuck with zero things happening in kings landing, nothing really happening on the iron isles, nothing happening at the wall but at least Dany now looks ready to return. At least she got her tits out, though they probably werent hers.
