Can’t see the books ever being finished to be honest. GRRM has been involved in the TV show and I think that will be the ending. Hasn’t he also said he will be involved in writing a prequel that takes place 1000 years before ASOIF takes place. What does he have to gain by finishing the books now. He is 70 extremely wealthy and now it seems involved in other projects. I wish this weren’t the case but I just can’t see it happening, when everyone will “know the ending”personally should of waited for the last two books to be completed

But, I do agree, it is unlikely they are ever finished.
