Gap between the Prem and Championship is becoming HUGE.

Devils advocate - Brighton and Wolves have only been up for 5 or 6 (?) years, and Brentford for 3 (?) so it's not like they've been up for ages

That being said the gap does seem to be growing

Personally I'd support some sort of profit sharing or any program that funneled funds from the bigger clubs to lower leagues but that doesnt seem plausible with FFP

People have short memories and forget just how much of a closed shop it was from 1992 onwards, the rags and Arsenal winning the lot with no other teams getting so much as a sniff in.

At least we have a top 6 now (Or is it 8?) are people starting to believe the drip drip of the media that we are killing football?

The old idea of the Championship becoming a Premier league 2 wasn't a bad idea, so more of the money trickles down. Then after a couple of years you can add Division 1 and Division 2 as well, then rename the whole competition the Football League Divisions 1 to 4. Job's a good 'un.

The EFL want more money (and they don't care where it comes from) as the three relegated teams have a huge advantage due to the PL parachute payments.
That all makes sense, but the number of teams that have played in the PL since its inception in 1992 is very similar to the number of teams that played in the old first division from 1962 to 1992, though there might be more yoyo teams these days.

There's the 'big 6' and now you can add Newcastle (7), Villa (8), Brighton (9), West Ham (10) as teams any newly promoted teams wont get near over 38 games. These 10 teams have WORLD CLASS players/ managers.

SO 10 teams out of reach.

Then Wolves have top top players like Neto, Cunha, Hwang Etc. Brentford have Toney, Mbeumo, Janelt etc. Palace have Olise, Eze, Anderson, Guehli etc. Forest have MGW, Murillo, Awoniyi, Dominguez etc. Fulham have Palhinha, Leno, Robinson etc and Bournemouth have Solanke, Billing, Scott etc.

The newly promoted teams like Luton, Sheff U and Burnley have no where near this talent and that is why they are firmly in the bottom three.

The 3 recently relegated teams occupy 3 of the top 4 spots in the Championship and it's only an amazing Ipswich team spliting them up. I think this trend is only going to get bigger with FFP.

Soon to come is the PL Super League, just for the Top 10.

Sure I read somewhere that there's been more different PL champions since 2013 than in the 20 years before that.

Luton have given as good as they have got, Burnley are suffering because Kompany is insisting they try to play Pep ball with players simply not good enough to do so, Sheffield are just a very poor side.

There is a gap ( and should be with the difference in finances), no surprise but not as big as some think.
