Gap between the Prem and Championship is becoming HUGE.

Bumping this given the West Brom and Norwich performances versus PL opposition so far today.

One thing that stands out to me is that the change in the style of play over the last 5-10 years has really exacerbated the difference in quality. The fact that football has become more mechanical and positional statistically leaves less to chance. If football used to be about 20% luck, it's probably more like 10% these days.

As a result you see teams trying to play like PL teams that are simply way less capable and the difference is really visible.

Think Pep has played a major part in the current huge difference between the 2 Leagues :-

All goalies now start the playing out from the back. Goal kicks are now seldom pumped upfield.
The Centre Backs of all teams have to be able to pass to a very good level.
Big target men are now the exception for the main striking roles.
Few Premier League players now come from the Championship.
