Don't laugh - my very first transfer post told how the powers that be thought Garcia was useless.

So not only did we sign a useless player you are saying we knew he was useless and still signed him? WTF?

I know he's a completely different type of player but when you see Spurs about to sign Eriksen for about £8m and consider we paid twice that for Lurch you have to wonder how on earth it happened.
Fernandinho looks like a £12m player, only we paid £30m, a player on the cards before Pellegrini came, strange decisions made for mysterious reasons.

I'm not one for picking on individuals but this guy just doesn't impress me at all. (He is simply not good enough)

Clearly you have forgotten about the City Tax which gets applied to player valuations when we are interested in them. If we wanted Eriksen, for example, he wouldn't come to us for a penny less than £15m.

I really wanted him to succeed but I think I just got wrapped up in the transfer fee and ignored the fact that he really wasn't very good we basically got raped!! If he does go is Demichelis coming in as dual cover?
