longer than the fish in the river will survive mate.Its meant to be a pelican, according to local lads, who know a bit about birds.
Not sure how long it will survive away from the park. Its up and down the river every day.

The male of the Great Bustard is said to be around 2.5 times the size of the Female.you learn something new every day.
So prob only the Male is the heaviest/ largest british breeding bird..will have to check,lol

Just checked...MS eat absolutely anything they can kill and consume
Fish,reptiles mammals,young birds and eggs..also will pick at any carcass left by other creatures.
