Love this pic. They are delightful birds, almost fairy-like. Used to see a reasonable number in our garden when we lived in a town, just seen a couple since we moved out to the nearby countryside.Another photo I took a couple of years ago, Long Tailed Tit.

Was at my mum's earlier today. She had loads of tiny birds at her numerous feeders. Then suddenly no birds at all, except a sparrow hawk hiding in one of her trees. Then as we're watching, a big green parrot arrived at the top of a neighbours's tree. All in tropical Wythenshawe.
Is it because of the way they walk?See lots of Ibis here (affectionately known as bin chickens) they get into the public bins with their long beaks, beautiful big birds.
They always look Egyptian to me.
