Why does my coriander keep dying?!?! I have other herbs and they are all going strong...the coriander has died twice. Maybe the Australian sun is too hot for it? Is watering it once a day too much? It's my favourite herb and the only one that won't fucking grow!

Know very little about this, save that when I'm in Cyprus (blisteringly hot) they complain that the lack of humidity stunts its healthy growth, but this link may help.

Cat shit in the ex's garden and weeds, fucking jap knot weed creeping in from next door already, the filthy fuckers.
I do their garden for fucking free once a year and it still ends up a shithole.

Got some taters chitting and gonna sort through my box of seeds and bulbs here.
Mainly tidy shit up and get my hedge trimmers fixed (went through the fucking cord didn't i)

Brought the dog up to keep those stinking feline bastards away.

Cats should be shot.

If I let my dog crap over other people's gardens I'd be slung on a ship and sent to Australia.

Chabal my motherfucking brother :-D

They are little cunts, i have spent a good couple of ton on top end soil to mix in (plagron batmix which i also use for my weed plants) and then you see a dirty cat turd in your fine cultivated veg patch.

I will be honest, chopper got a cat that tried running into the house the other month. Opened the door and it tried running in as he wanted out, i didn't see it and before i knew what had happened the cat was very very dead. It happened in the space of a breath. The cat was young and should not have been out in those temps (very very cold) so i can see why it tried to dive in.
I won't go into detail but there was nothing anyone could have done to help it. The cat shit rate did drop though !

Gonna use an old weed tent to help kick start some stuff i may not be able to grow otherwise.
Anyone grown asparagus in the north of england outdoors ?

Been looking through the veg seeds on Premier Seeds - it's an ebay store and without doubt the best place to buy seeds on-line. Most packets are just 99p, and they have some fab varieties. Bought six weird tomato varieties from there a couple of years ago, and they were delish!

Last year beans were excellent, peas so-so, tomatoes very good, cucumbers all died. As for fruit, it was great for raspberries, and I got my first ever figs off my fig plant, but my strawberries got attacked by weevils and my apples got nicked so I'm hoping for better this year.

Willow coppicing and weaving all yesterday at a local school, visiting a community farm tomorrow to see how we can help them get their new organic allotment spaces up and running. Everything seems to be flowing nicely so far. Really glad to be back grafting and meeting new clients.
