Gareth Bale

wing back he would be awesome would give us real attacking threat.

I said earlier in the week that we should be playing 3 at the back plus wingbacks in some games. Bale would fit in to this perfectly.

Am I the only one who doesn't see how Bale will fit in?

He is an out and out winger we don't play with wingers and even if we did it looks like Tevz and Aguero will be the first choice partnership.

What?

Bale is a "converted" LEFT BACK, who currently plays the attacking left midfield position!?!

TBH, I'm surprised Mancini has not already turned Kolarov into this type of player. Played him there a few times, but not sure AK has shown the fitness levels (willingness?) to put in the shift needed to play that position.

IMO bale would be a outstanding buy,he ticks all the boxes, young, strong, ambitious, very quick, something that we need!! he will give us natural width and pace something we do not have a present!!

Does Bale drift in-field like Nasri or Silva(I know he was at the end of the season for Spuds.) but he is best when beating the full-back and smashing the ball in to the box.A world class player but Won't fit in at City imo.

Vastly overrated and hugely one dimensional.
Dosnt fit our style and would be over priced. No thanks.

Bale could be like our Dani Alves if he played left-back but make no mistake he is a mediocre defender so we'd have to play an extra holding midfielder or three at the back if we want to maintain our defensive solidity.

why won't he fit in? we have to have more ways to skin a rabbit.dec/jan/feb weren't the best months for city,at times it looked liked we had been found out,you cannot have enough tools to unlock a defence, sheer pace and directness, especially away from home, where we do have to improve, bale can provide this, remember its a 25 man squad game, not just 11 on the pitch!!

He's overpriced . . english players with anything going for them are generally overpriced but he might be useful as a gift to the quota.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment entirely, I just thought it'd be worth saying February was a good month for us on the whole, in fact we won every game we played in February I believe. It was March that almost killed us.
