Sorry he did put fact,so surely that means thats it and end of that mini debate!pudge said:Can you provide a link/interview as to where Mancini has said this?ANY1aBLUE said:BoyBlue_1985 said:Everytime i see your name in a Lescott thread i think the same
Blimey, who have thought it - what a coincidence - and there was me thinking every time I see your name, the content can invariably be dismissed as; pointless, banal, tosh, and without substance............... and here we go again!
ps. Lescott is still an pretty good Premiership footballer; no more, no less - but not Champions League ability - our manager thinks the same, which is why he's trying to buy the finished article - fact.

How are they flops? Flops are people who came in and did fuck all. Just to name some of their highlights:
Barry is David Silva's player of the season, 'nuff said.
Milner was a key factor in the 6 goals mauling.
Clichy is our first choice LB.
Nasri scored the pivotal winning goal against Chelsea, making a hattrick of assists on his debut.
Lescott is now arguably England's best defender.
They aren't flops, flops are people like Santa Cruz.

He also dropped Richards and Clichy in the CL on numerous occasions, doesn't mean he wants to replace them.BlueBilly said:Thenumber1blue said:Sorry he did put fact,so surely that means thats it and end of that mini debate!pudge said:Can you provide a link/interview as to where Mancini has said this?
There are few things more annoying than someone saying fact, invariably its only said following someone's opinion. However, Mancini did drop Lescott v Bayern away in the Champions League which could suggest that he'd favour a ball playing centre back for European football.
All tactical. I have to say Bobby has a nice mind behind his ears.pudge said:He also dropped Richards and Clichy in the CL on numerous occasions, doesn't mean he wants to replace them.BlueBilly said:Thenumber1blue said:Sorry he did put fact,so surely that means thats it and end of that mini debate!

Oh my! A bit too young, maybe we should give him a few more years to develop and hone his skills.Joehannes said:He's 22Pianecuip said:Are we not? we have been linked with him a few times, Spurs are on the rocks a bit, pacy, only about 25 so entering his peak.
