Gareth Bale

Bale is 22 years old, surely most Spurs fans would be distraught if they sold him?

I've seen quite a few Spurs fans on their forums who would be more than happy to cash in on Bale, for the right price.
I've seen lots of comments like "£40M ? bite their hand off"
Interesting, it would define Spurs as a "selling club". I got the impression Levy wanted to say to the world "we intend to keep our best players because we want CL and to challenge the best clubs".

Our Premiership club buys generally dont workout, And are very overpriced, we should avoid this pattern. Foreign, quality, at a good price(thats unless we are in the market for some homegrown talent
Barry, Milner, Clichy, Nasri, Lescott
EXACTLY!! (thats if you are trying to prove my accurate "premflops" theory Though Barry should not be on the list and a slight case for clichy methinks.

I don't know if I'm reading this wrong, but are you saying Lescott is a flop? If so, then I'd strongly disagree.

How are they flops? Flops are people who came in and did fuck all. Just to name some of their highlights:

Barry is David Silva's player of the season, 'nuff said.
Milner was a key factor in the 6 goals mauling.
Clichy is our first choice LB.
Nasri scored the pivotal winning goal against Chelsea, making a hattrick of assists on his debut.
Lescott is now arguably England's best defender.

They aren't flops, flops are people like Santa Cruz.

Bojinov, Bianchi, Musampa, Castillo, Samaras, etc etc, flops.

every now and then certain players come up and you have to get them and for me bale is one of those players! hes what we lacked at times last season and at 22 is of a perfect age for now and for future development! if he can play like he did for spurs imagine how he would come on with bobby coaching him and training and playing with better players?!?! he would be dynamite.
