We certain;y lack pace and Bale could be an option however at 40 plus million I don't see City being one bit interested

How about Sinclair(6m)+Garcia(16m)+20m= Bale.

The game changes when HE wants to leave. So far he's been loyal and not kicked up a fuss but if they don't get 4th this season that may change, he is too good not to be playing in the Champions League. BTW if he does leave I don't think it'll be to us - as I can't see Mancini spending so much on an out-and-out winger when that role is bit part in his system - but think Real Madrid could go for him or even Chelsea. United would love him and he'd be a huge addition for them and improve them a lot, but there is no way they will pay around £40million for him.

After seeing how Milner and Kolarov changed the game last night, it highlights perfectly how much we need width in our team. We are so narrow that its no wonder that Silva can't get enough space to work his magic.

Bale or Lennon in our team would be an incredible addition...far more than Falcao imho.

I thought I read on here this week that he had roughly the same stats as A.J as far as goals and assists. Anyway, I can't stand him and think he is massively overated.

Scored again Us, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea.. basically all the big teams and is one of the top scorers in UEFA World cup qualifying. For a 23 year old winger, I can't find a way to call him over rated.

People are rating him on here at 70 - 75m. That's massively overated.

It doesnt matter - he is an appreciating asset and a must have player for any CL winning team. He'd be in any world x11 - and for that you have to pay the relative price.
What would you rather have right now - the crap we bought for 50m or bale + 20m?????! No brainer.
