Gareth Bale

Providing he stays fit, why would spurs sell?

Add Soldado, keep Bale, and maybe add one other to last seasons team, remembering that they already have got Paulinho and you've got a team that with a bit of luck could challenge for the title.

I agree with this.

With a 4-3-3 and invert Bale to a more goal scoring style winger.

Replace Lennon with Holtby, better end product and passing abilites.

Holtby----Soldado-----Bale

--Paulinho-Sandro-Dembele--

Rose-Vertonghen-Dawson-Walker

------------Lloris-----------

Very formidable PL team right there, title challenger possibly...

Not even close. Reasonable in midfield, average up front and at the back. That team would be challenging for top 4 again.

Their defence would need to be more solid for them to challenge for the title. Furthermore, I really don't get the hype with Vertonghen.
I think Lloris is outstandingly good.
I thought Vertongehn grew into a good player over the season. The amout of times I saw him for Ajax and the first five months at Spurs just dribble up the pitch with the ball and lose it then to not even sprint back was unbelievable. He seemed to stop that completely in the latter half of last season and I think was arguably the best CB in the Prem by the end of the season.
Dawson is mint. He almost got sold to QPR but within a few moths he was made captain. I've always rated Dawson.
I don't like Walker at all, but he's a very good Prem RB.
They need a LB.

I think if they sign Soldado and keep Bale and sign a LB they will be the team I most fear next season.

They will not finish in the top 3

Cant see Bale going anywhere this season equally i dont htink his value will be as high as it is now.

He had an outstanding season last year but personally i dont think he will repeat it. Many of his goals were worldys but for me i dont see him in the Ronaldo bracket for the time being at least - if he reprats last season so be it

Either way he will be gone next season and i think Spuds will do well next season but really cant see them higher than 4th
