Gareth Bale

It's amazing how much better we'd be with just this one signing and a decent formation

Yaya Fernandinho
Bale Silva Nasri
Aguero

If we are not all in for him we're insane

I agree. but we'd also need a new manager because pellegrini wouldn't set up like that unfortunately.
Gareth can bring his mate Carlo

Schneiderlin Fernandinho
--De Bruyne-Silva-Bale
--------Aguero--------

Looks much better and, while it would cost approx.120m.......with outgoings, isn't unrealistic.

No-brainer that we should be all over Bale - signing a fast, direct, wide attacking player (ideally one who can play on either side and can score goals) should have been a priority in each of the last five or six windows. He'd make a world of difference to us.

I'd be going for him and possibly Koke, and then looking to recoup as much as possible on Kolarov, Dzeko and Fernando.

If available, we have to try and get him at the very least. He has what he lack desperately, burning pace, directness and eye for goals from the wing. An instant upgrade in the left wing position. Much better than Milner. Plus, Silva, nasri can get to play in their more natural position, centrally behind the strikers rather than stuck out on the wing.

The only question is how much would we be willing to fork out for him after he only just transferred to RM for a crazy fee.

Real Madrid won't get their 80m back with FFP in place, only United could justify paying that for him.

I reckon he would be available for around 60m-65m which in my opinion represents a decent value if you ask me.

I think if we could get one of Bale or Reus along with De Bruyne to bolster our attack we will have done extremely well.

As much as I'd like to have him for as cheap as possible I can't help but concede that RM selling him for 65 million is wishful thinking especially because they don't need to. Yes I know they'd be in the market for Reus and some other player but they have so many other toys that they can release for good sums e.g. James. While I understand that getting Bale for 65 million pounds is a possibility i'd rather we use a more down-to-earth valuation. Remember that you are not in the Real Madrid board and also that they are well aware that Chelsea and rags will be all over him in summer

60 mill would be worth about 85 million euros at the moment, I can't remember what the euro price they paid was but it wouldn't have Benn much more than 100 million euros
