Put the bottle down son?Bale to Spurs, and we sign Son
Possibly because he’s so similar in style to Ronaldo?Isco was absolutely terrible tonight and he still starts over Bale. Tells you what Zidane thinks of him. Can't risk him for 90 minutes no matter how good he is.
Not for me.
According to him he was injured for the first six weeks of this season and has been fit ever since. If you could get 40+ games (starting) a season out of him I’d love him here.
But doubt it with his injuries.
I dunno. The interview he gave had a hint of burning bridges about it.Surely can't make an argument for not wanting him at city and that's not based on tonight. An absolute A star signing for anyone but he'll stay pit I reckon,m. Tonight was evidence if needed that he'll eventually replace that t**t as Madrids main man
David Silva has never been injury prone (maybe 15/16 but I chalk 1 stand alone season of numerous injuries as bad fortune)I'm sorry but don't we have a certain Dr. Cugat who's performed miracles on once injury-prone stars Sergio Aguero and David Silva?
Bale is hardly as injury prone as Kompany to be as worried as we are.
A bigger question is, with Ronaldo ALSO saying his future is up in the air and that he'll inform everyone what he'll do in the next few days, will Real Madrid sell Bale AND Ronaldo in the same window should push come to shove?
Make no mistake, we can get all the humble players in this world who'll run like donkeys forever for the team (like Liverpool), but until we get that real winner mentality, the kind Madrid showed tonight and have been for 5 years, it's going to be a real uphill task to win the UCL. Bale's experience with 4 UCLs is going to be ridiculously valuable to our club. What's more, he doesn't seem like an explicitly arrogant dick to upset the more insecure sections of our fanbase with his confidence.
